Bedford County, William Border lock
Bedford County lock from a rifle made by John Border. Engraving transfers nicely to the castings.
This lock had a screw in the tumble to allow adjustments of the sear/tumbler tension, or trigger pull.
Initials are not on the casting of the lock plate.
Plate measures 4 5/8" and the throw of the hammer is 1 13/32"
