SILER ALTERNATE PARTS
These parts are designed to fit a Large Siler flintlock lock.
The flintcock and frizzen spring are patterns derived from modifying
the castings from the Shroyer lock. The frizzen spring utilizes the existing
threaded hole for the Siler spring. By countersinking the hole from the inside,
and using a 6-32 screw, the alternate spring is now held on from the inside
which is proper for this style lock. The flintcock is also correct and the square mounting hole is cast in.
